I'm Dev. I make abstract paintings out of oil, enamel, spray, and whatever the season leaves behind. Raised in the Himalayan foothills and shaped in Paris, my work explores the unresolved tension between stillness and motion. I translate this dialogue between nature and form through thick, textured layers that mirror the stillness of mountains, while fluid gestures capture light, water, and all that moves beyond form.

The paintings begin from the ground, where everything begins. Not as metaphor. As fact. In the Indian Himalayan valleys, ridge lines, which carry a particular quality of light at that altitude.
